COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course looks into concepts, applications and methods in Information Resource Management (IRM) with a special focus on Knowledge Management. It involves sessions on both prevailing and emerging approaches in managing information and knowledge within an Organization for the purpose of leveraging such as a valuable resource that can be used to support the Organizations vision and mission, execute plans and processes, as well as become a source for competitive advantage.

Throughout the course, focus will be given to anchoring conceptual discussions on the benefits, issues, and challenges IRM brings to the management objectives and dynamics of various business functions. Cases and readings will be discussed in class to explore and analyze these concerns as they are faced by business enterprise.
